These are great quality knives! We wanted something more upscale and practical than what is offered in packaged cheese knife/board sets. These knives are top quality. They are large and easy to handle and the function of cutting cheese is perfect. We paired this knife set with a 14" Catskill Craftsman butcher block cutting board and the set is awesome! Very upscale and functional. The knife with the fork on the end is perfect for cutting cheddar and then picking it up. The knife with the holes really does minimize sticking of cheese on the blade. You don't hit your knuckles when cutting a bite-sized piece of cheese and they are very well balanced in the hand. Highly recommend these knifes for their function and craftsmanship. They could last a life time. WAY better than anything found in the department stores. If you like cheese, then these are a must have. Wish we had bought something like this many years ago.Versatile. They come fairly sharp; I mean, you're cutting cheese, not raw meat. But a little time on a sharpening steel and they become a pleasure to use.
