Bought this for small messes, dusty corners, and to vacuum the dog hair off furniture without needing to lug out the full sized vacuum. It's perfect! Works great on the couch and the battery lasts surprisingly long for the size. For those who complain.... It's a small battery powered handheld vac. It's not meant to be used for hours at a time ?I like that I can empty the dust cup without touching it for the most part. If I want to be super thorough I do need to use my hands to fully empty the cup, but usually a gentle tap on the side of the bin loosens most of the dust without a problem. I'm not breaking out in hives every time I open the container like I do with other vacuums so that's a big win to me.One good thing about the vacuum, it is narrow and works to vacuum in our cars in places that commercial car vacs can't reach.The main issues we found are:1. The power button right where you hold your thumb on the handle, so both my spouse and I turn it off inadvertently when we are using the vacuum.2. To use the vacuum, you need two pieces, so one of them plugs into the place the charge port is which seems an odd place to suck up junk that could get into the electrical contact, except probably when you plug the nozzle in. That means you have to put it together each time you use it and pull it apart to charge it. It's a bit inconvenient.3. The dust chamber is quite small and we find we have to pull off the filter inside it to clean the sides of it every time we use it.We still will keep it, because it does reach places around the seats that our other portable vac does not.Handy and easy to use for quick clean-ups. Great bug catcher!This is a little vacuum that fits on the counter and it works and looks nice. The suction power is okay. It’s good for cleaning up small messes. I think it is a little overpriced but I can’t find one like it that looks nice on the counterThis is AMAZING!! I have Dyson products as well and SHARK worksI bought this shark WV 401 hand vac for one specific reason. Every morning I do some kind of trimming on my beard and the little hairs just get all over the place, my master Bath has a double sink with a large showy tub in between, my side sink is a mess because I can’t seem to keep control of the little trimmings. So I bought this hoping it might keep things clean and under control, I put it in the corner on my sink and after two days seems like the problem is solved also because of its length and the included brush it is easy to reach into the tub and vacuum anything that has floated that direction. The other half is now happy and I am out of the doghouse. Hopefully this little vac will last a while it does a good job for what I am using it for just remember to clean it out carefully every so often.I was concerned about the debris capacity of this unit but for my use around the house and cars I haven't had an issue. Great suction weight fits in most spots in car and home. Fits hands and never needed additional battery yetI love this. So easy to grab for a quick pick up. I use it for my couch where my cats like to sleep. Quick and easy. It has pretty good suction for a small hand held unit. Small, light, easy to grab an easy to clean, with a HEPA like filter and a decent battery life. This hand vac meets all my requirements and on top of that it looks great. The only thing I wish it had is a small LED light. No vendor offers an LED light for this type of vacuums however Shark could be the pioneers as they usually are with other features.All in all I’m pretty happy with this product and although it’s a bit pricey I think it’s worth it. Just remember that this type of vacuum is for small, easy jobs and it is not meant to replace your regular home vacuum.We bought this to be able to clean up all the turf around our washing machine when we need to wash our sons soccer stuff. Normally the turf gets all over the place and it's somewhat difficult to clean up.This has helped us clean up all the turf that comes off his uniform and socks and we also use it to vacuum the car. Definitely a quality product and we love all of our Shark products.Excellent suction! Easy to pick up a quick mess and fits into small spaces!Great size and performance !!! Excellent choice for my daughter’ student room.
